“He attacked his mother first using a hammer…After that attack where she was left on the floor he then turned and went down the hall and attacked his father. After a struggle we believe he hit his father in the head, killing him and then left the scene,” Strain stated.
“We believe that it started over a simple discussion between him and his parents about doing more chores, or work around the home. Again, being 25 years old and living with his parents, they believed apparently that he should take more responsibility and he felt not,” said the sheriff.
